Fact Sheets Available on the Affordable Care Act for Americans with Disabilities

The Health and Human Services Office on Disability (OD) which oversees the implementation and coordination of programs and policies that enhance the health and well-being of people with disabilities, has developed a Fact Sheet, “People with Disabilities & Serious Health Conditions: The Top 5 Things You Need to Know About the Affordable Care Act.”
The Fact Sheet is available as a PDF in English and Spanish.

A second Fact Sheet, the Updated Fact Sheet on Affordable Care Act and Americans with Disabilities, summarizes the new health options and protections that the ACA makes available to Americans with disabilities.
